There is no light relay, they are switched by a sort of transistor. BECM = Body Electronic Control Module located under the drivers seat (RHD). If the carpet is damp in the drivers footwell, odds on there is condensation inside the box. with the battery disconnected, it can be unplugged and the lid removed. If you can see condensation inside, stick it somewhere warm for a couple of days, then clean all the connectors with contact cleaner and see what happens.

Condensation in the box WILL kill the whole thing sooner or later, then it won't be £200 it will be a whole heap of trouble and cost.

You don't listen do you? The headlights are not switched by relays.
50 years experience of electronics and a good knowledge of the insides of the BECM and I know that condensation will cause major problems.Have you looked in the box no! So how do you know its going to take the lot out !!! Stop assuming the worst sometimes its not all that bad!
Of course there are malfunctions of light circuits, but in the case of the P38 the most common cause of random unwanted events is corroded connectors and condensation. It's not doom and gloom, dried out they often recover, left the problems just get worse.So you never come across a malfunction of the light circuit only no wet no condensation in your case everything is doom and gloom and a certainty its that . I don't think so you might want to scare the living day lights out of people but I don't
