As OP said, it could be injectors, search for "leak back test" and you'll get the advice you need for that.
As to testing the cam shaft sensor, get a can of freeze spray and when it's hot and wont start, spray the sensor, if t starts after that then you need a new sensor, Rimmer Bros sell them for reasonable prices.
If it's a knackered injector it will be more costly, but still home mechanic fixable![]()
Do you have to remove the sensor and spray the whole thing, or can you do it "in situ"
Do doozles suffer vapour lock?
