Hi Guys,

When driving my p38 today I got to about 50mph and the steering wheel wobbled quite violently. It doesn't do it before 50mph and if you accelerate out of the wobble it stops. I noticed it was worse when the car was cold...

It has recently had new front radius arm bushes, steering damper and a reconditioned steering box.

Wheel bearing? But then it would get worse the faster you go...

Thanks in advance guys

Steering box not properly centered, drag link or track rod ends worn, tracking out are all possibles.

Had the tracking re done after I replaced track rod ends and the front radius bushes about 4 weeks ago...

Thanks for your help :)

If you have L322 wheels (off the 02-05 model) do you have the spigot rings in? If they had the wheels off did they forget to put them back?
The wobble from missing rings will come on randomly between and typically between 50-60mph. As you accelerate through the wobble stops exactly as you describe
