Just got a 300tdi and am sorting for farm use. Have fitted a set of roof lights but am wondering where to run the wires for them - help!

down A-pillar, into wing and into engine bay. from there into cab.

Or if you dont mind drilling the roof - fit some of theses M20S 20MM IP68 NYLON CABLE GLAND x 10 (6-12mm) on eBay (end time 15-Sep-10 11:11:34 BST)

got one tucked behind the lightbar on my roof , and it dont leak

08Mckerp ran his along behind the dash, up the plastic trim on the inside of the windscreen then fitted 2 little rubber grommets at the top of the frame where the cable exited. If you later remove it, 2 rivets will fill the holes so it still looks neat.

I did this..and regret it a bit. You need to put a connection in the cab if you want to take the roof off in summer, i forgot.
