I'm doing an engine swap on my 110, from 3.5 v8 to 3.9 serpentine v8. These engines use different Alternators. The current lucas one has a plug like this: image.jpg
Which has to connect to this on the new alternatorimage.jpg
Any tips? Two thick browns which I guess are B+ And a thinner brown/yellow? Battery warning light?

yup, they used two brown wires instead of a larger single one for the battery. that goes to B
D+ is for the warning light, brown/yellow
W is for a tacho.. if yours uses that
It earths via the mounting bolts

I would fit separate ring terminals to the two browns though rather than one big one.
Easier to crimp/solder and the terminals are easier to source.
