To add confusion,
Wheres the best place to put a battery master key switch, on a Series Landy?
Just though might be a good idea?
Best place for a power invertor to be hard wired in?
Thanks,
84/0.30mm, 6mm2, 50amp - Typical applications. Charging cable for dynamo, alternator and ammeter circuits. But use two lengths - ie double up on the wires - yu mite want a high output alternator at some time.
What about wiring the invertor straight of the battery, then with another master key to turn that on and off, as have heard that any invertor over (either 180 or 300 cant remember which) should be hard wired in.
Anyway, had better be off for tonight, back later!
Sounds like a gd idea, what kind of relay would you use?
I have one idea of a relay driving a starter solinoid.
Wonder what mads idea on this is?
think about it for an hour or two!! The sillynoid acts as a relay!
You need to know the current draw of the inverter and work from there. I have one idea of a relay driving a starter solinoid.

Ok, I will try again. What is the switching current of a stater solonoid? alot greater than a standard 30amp I would presume. So using the alernator to switch the 30amp solonoid would take the load of switching the starter solonoid off of the alernator. Then using the 30amp solonoid to switch the higher current for the starter solonoid. If not forget I mentioned the idea![]()
