has any one got any advice?
basicly my wiper motor on my 87 defender seems to make a strange ticking noise when it operates. wipers work fine but have only just started making this noise. if its any help iv had the instrument panel off today to sort out another problem i had with my gauges.

easy fix? strip motor i presume?

i would start with checking wiper ferrule is tigh on shaft ,then remove dash top not too bad then you can see wiper boxes and guides
