Im trying to improve my heater and have been looking at the scoops available.
Looking ay some on e bay and its seems to me the front facing holes are so small it cant be any better than the std set up can it?
Has anyone got any experience and can recommend a make/supplier?
Mps seem to do a taller one that looks like its got a decent size hole and they also do a lower version for twice the price.
I tried a search but the links in the replies are out of date.

Both did make a difference. I prefer the look of the louvered ones but I think the taller one made more of a difference. Being a V8 though the heater was pretty good anyway.

All they do is force even more cold air into the cab. If your heater dont work fancy plastic bling wont make it any better. JMHO

I have had both of these, the basic scoop for about 5-years and the KBX louvred ones for the last 3-years and they are both fine (300TDi).
Don't get me wrong, if your heter isn't working correctly in the first place then they aren't going to make a whole lot of difference but what they do is provide a natural boost or even allow you to run with the fan-motor switched off yet still have a usefull through-flow of air to keep the vehicle mist-free.

I like the look of the louvered one but not the price!
Heater seems to work okay car warms up as it should just poor airflow so i will take advice and remove matrix for a look and if all okay try one of the scoops.
So rhats tomorrows spare time taken up again.

I have the raised one with the stainless steel mesh over it. It does make a big difference to the heater when your going along the road doesnt help off roading, But if your heater box isnt sealed right or the matrix isnt to clever it will just add even more cool air to the cab
