Driving to work today and a lorry that decided it wanted to go south on M60 while in the lane for the north M60 switched at speed crossing the chevrons and spitting all the **** from the chevrons at my car while I'm hitting the brakes to avoid stupid lorry driver!! one of the artifacts to be spat at my screen cracked my screen and now I need to replace it :mad:

Maybe you could try giving them a ring, with details of times and locations they may know which driver it was and see if you can claim on their Insurance - might be worth a punt and will only cost you a phone call!!
 
Sorry to hear that, what a pillock that driver! Depending on the extent of damage you might be able to get it filled quite cheaply and not bother your insurance. Try carglass and autoglass websites, there are templates and everything showing how big or small a crack or a chip they can work on.
 
If you have a new one fitted make sure they replace the trim across the top as they usually knacker it taking it off
 
You can actually clam off there insurance my mate used to work for auto glass he used to do loads
 
Make sure you get a new top trim and bottom trim these can be reused along bottom but better new. And make sure they send two men a lot easier with 2 men
