evening all
after the heavy rain today i noticed me windscreen has started to leak only a drip about every 10 seconds ........ can the windscreen be siliconed up would this help solve the problem or is something more drastic that needs doing ,or is the screen rubber starting to give up the ghost
thanks all

I sure D2 windscreens are bonded so the water may becoming from some where else but if the bonding is the problem then windscreen sealent will fix it. Best of luck in finding the course.

there used to be a glue 'seek and seal' that cured this kinda problem. not sure if you can still get it tho.

I had the same problem with my discovery. if the leak is on the nearside it will be the heater intake. This has a seal around it that is easily broken but to change it you have to drop the heater motor which is not very easy but doable in a couple of hours. To save time and money going to the dealer for a new seal I found a draught excluder in Focus (DIY) to be an excellent alternative. This is self adhesive on one side and has cured the leak superbly. Hoope this helps.
