hi all just a quickie my front passenger window keeps getting a trap fault every time i use it had the door pannel of and the mettel plate in front of the winder mech has a 2" split in it and is flexing like a bugger when opperated think this is the fault (bloody obvious even to me) dose any one know if i can get it welded up ? will this work? and do i have to wory about it shorting the bcm out (will it work with a gas weld) i no nothing about welding)

i welded plenty of window regs on p38s without any probs, disconnect the battery if you want to be sure but migs dont tend to spike like the old arc welders used to.
