The cobbles of Edinburgh have finally done for my driver side front window. Following an interesting rattle then a grinding noise when I opened it it decided to stick at an angle half way down the hill to Stockbridge.

Took the trim off and both cables are off their rollers and I've no idea how to wind them back on. I've traced a few threads but the guys seem pretty technical in their descriptions. It would be great to see a diagram of how these spindles/rollers wind on. There's a groove on and off in the top off them which makes me think there's a really particular way to do it.

Would help if you told folks what type of Landy you have! Or do a :search:!! It's been covered lots of times before no doubt!
