Well I've been in the garage, bloody cold out there,I found the blue sliders but I may have found your problem inadvertently, if you look at the first photo both left hand tops appear to have broken/ worn away so perhaps new sliders may fix it.if you need my old ones,one retaining clip missing.pm me your address and I'll get them in the post.the other photos are of the passage side window but will give you an idea of the fixing points.I didn't see that bit!!! thanks for the pics, that helps! though you were mad going out into the garage when its cold! thinking about it, if those bits were worn, i should see it move in the channel? Or maybe not? think they need to come out for a proper check and take it from there. I'll get the MOT out of the way first.
Wish I had somewhere dry to work on it, leaving the glass out overnight isn't an option, but maybe I could prop it up somehow in case it rains
