i'm new to offroading and i'm just in the process off kitting out my disco and i'm just wondering what is a good winch to go for and were can i get it?

warn all the way never had any problems with em,but you do pay for the priveledge

you shouldn't need a winch for laning unless your planning on destroying the lane, i agree with trew turfor, if you plan of doing pay n play or lots of heavy recovery get a hydraulic winch they cost more but will **** all over any electric winch

the maitou looks like a good toy to have but is it a forklift ticket you need or a crane one

maybe get (and break a cheapie first) teach you a few things then getting a better one later,
