I made my self a winch bumper for my +3" 8274 by getting a winch tray from gwyn Lewis and welding it into my exsisting bumper,

Idea been its a tight fit to keep the approach angle.

Having bought a caravan I'm toeing a lot more and am thinking about a full width front mount intercooler.

I can only move my rad backwards maybe 1" to 1.5" at a push as with the electric fan, should say its a 300tdi 90,

I don't realy want to move the bumper fowar pds but I could, how hard is this to do?

Here's some pics, I can get my fingers behind the winch just, its nit touching th rad,

move the rad back that inch as you are going to need it and wire in a switch so you can have the electric fan running all the time offroad or towing

an extra inch wont help with a full width cooler, they're deeper than that, bumper will have to move forwards or he'll have to fit a smaller winch :p

move the bumper forwards and upwards, problem solved
Dint think of that doc

It's already in a switch so I can turn it off when in water on on when towing

I still have my old warn xd9000 but I do t want to go backwards

I have a fan on my bike engined track car that might be thinner and there's loads of space on that to swap them over, how hard is it to move the rad backwards?

drilled into x member iirc, so re drill and extend top mounts back too

Have you looked at a dual core intercooler? They are the same height and width as the standard one, but twice as deep. Not sure if this depth is gained by extending it forwards or back but worth looking at.
