Yes and auto leads do a wiring harness so yu can still use the dash buttons to control it
 
Mines a 2003 D2 and has the standard euro plugs + an extra plug for the steering volume controls I fitted a 7" pop out lcd screen stereo with no probs except all the extra cables were a squeeze.
 
If they int got the Lead I have one, I'll be happy to let you have for a couple of beer tokens..
 
I went into Halfords on Tuesday and they told me that if the car has Harmon Kardon (which mine does) then they have never been able to get hold of the correct adaptor to get a new head unit to work. Discos with HK apparently have seperate power amps making it more difficult. I'm hoping my local ICE place will not have any such problems.

if i remember right read a thread on here hk doesnt take to well to after market speakers either
 
HK head unit is just a recever/controlled with the amplification in a sererate unit, Normal head units the amp is integral hence head units quoted as ie. 45+45 watts per channel.

So as juiceyv8 said above, remove...........:)
