Not really. I had some disco roof bars on my 88'' for a while and had to squeeze them a little to get them to sit right. Not a lot but enough if the rack feet are solid.
Imagine there's enough clearance over the roof but would sit lower than a standard disco one.
Hang about for a while someone must of fitted one or given up trying.
What type of rack is it you're looking at?

i had a 90 rack on my old disco and all i did was cut the diagonal support legs off, bent the main support uprights out atad and then re-welded some more 1/2" box section in to replace the diagonal supports. not a hard job and did'nt take much more than an hour from start to finish.
