Had to nip home during work and whilst there, quickly looked on Ebay for a head for my 'T' reg Disco TD5. Found one advertised as 'Landrover TD5 Cylinder Head', with 5 hours left for bidding, so quickly bid and returned to work.
Upon my return I found I'd won it, but on further perusal, I found a question regarding whether it would fit an 'S' reg Disco. The answer stated that the head was off an 'X' reg 110 and the seller was unsure whether it would fit.
Not being mechanically minded, I need advice please!! Will this fit my Disco? I'm rather desperate for one, so time is of the essence! Thanks....

hi, on the casting[head] there is a stamp hrc2880 it is the casting number the early td5's had this head, if yours has it and the 1 you've bought has then it will fit.

the later heads will fit the earlier engines. You'll need the fuel pressure regulator and fuel pipe to go with it though.

Thanks ratty..... I've yet to ascertain whether mine has a stamp... too dark!!
