worth a look at your local Wilkinsons. I got the offer from Hotukdeals - missed it a few months ago but soon as I saw it again went down and bought 3x 4L of the 5W30.
All the oil on offer is shown on their website. Its shown as out of stock, but well worth giving your local Wilkinsons a call.

Its not critical IMO. New oil is better than old oil. My Lambo has to have special oil gleaned from vestal virgins thighs

Fully synthetic is'nt 100% necessary but semi is and why short cut on oil? Especially if you can buy a full synthetic for around the same price of a semi!! By using a better oil you add a bigger safety margin especially in a hard worked engine like that fitted to the Freelander

Indeed, I use a semi synth in my Fleabag, Halfords normally. TBH I cant see that the subject is worth a whole thread - maybe on the Lambo Forum
