Has anyone bought and used these electric window repair kits on e bay (the ones with the new cables).
I have 3 windows on my car not working due to snapped cables don't want to wast my money if there not good but don't want to spend a fortune on new genuine complete electric windows either
any help would be good

I've done mine with bicycle brake cables bought for 2 each . Drilled out the cable from the old ends,cut the cable to length,fluxed and melted in some solder ,with varying results .

If I have to do it again I will most likely buy the cable kit . Cant see the point of spending for a whole mechanism , when the motor will last forever .

Excellent idea with the bike brake cables don't think the kids would be impressed though if i broke their bikes

will take a chance on the e bay repair kits

E bay ones work fine, it's just a very fiddly job!

Yes I have used a cable kit of ebay , Worked fine but fiddley job so leave pleanty of time to do it .
you get cables & plastic parts to replace ( it was the plastic bit that broke on mine then the cable messed up )

Its worth trying . No need to dismantle the kids bikes ,just go to nearest bike shop and buy new cables .
