Hi all,

First of no doubt many things I want to investigate and amend on my 90 TD5. The drivers side air vent, when closed has a very strange whistling noise, it is definitely wind noise but cannot for the life of me figure out what it is. Has anyone else come across this?

it is a very squeaky sounding whistle, but is definitely a whistle. When vent is open it stops. No issue on passenger side.

Any suggestions at all?

Must be the seal, tape it up until the noise has gone.
Your lucky as my vent hinge pins have rusted solid.

Thanks for this, I’ll take a look and tape it up and see what happens.
