Hi all.
I need to replace the UJs in my front prop on my 1985 LR90.
The current ones have no grease nipple so I haven't been able to maintain them and I reckon they have worn out.

My front propshaft was replaced by the previous owner with a double carden type as the beast has a 3 inch lift.

I looked on paddocks and there are loads of different options so I'm stumped.

Can anyone help me decide which I need to order?

Thanks Steve but I'd worked out that much for myself. What I can't tell is which one of the hardy spicers on offer to order... perhaps they're all the same:confused:

Here's a list of just the Defender front prop Hardy Spicer UJ's from Paddock's website:

1. UJ for front prop (HARDY SPICER) to CA252578 4 cyl and to CA254406 V8 - DEFENDER
2. UJ for front prop (HARDY SPICER) from CA252579 to 1A612404 4 cyl and from CA254407 to 1A612404 V8 - DEFENDER
3. UJ for front prop (HARDY SPICER) from 1A612405

Are these all the same thing?
Bear in mind that my propshaft is non-standard & has double carden joint so I will need 3 of the right UJs...
 
You will have to measure the width of the existing UJ spiders to get the right ones.
They come in standard widths but a few milimetres makes all the difference.
