Wondering which tyres will be best for my Disco Tdi200

The only time it goes on the road is between lanes, or venues.

Not bothered about on road performance, its not a sports car after all.

Basicaly looking for cheap and cheerfull with good offroad performance.

ATM I have BFG AT's which are either 265/75/16's or 265/80/16's, cant remember now :D, the Disco has a 2 inch spring kit, plus a 2in lift below the spring.

I live in LINCS, rough price guide and tyre choices appreciated thankyou.

insa turbo special tracks.

265/75/16' are roughly £70 a corner from paddocks.

I was planning on dropping down to 235's if that makes any difference ? aparantly handle the ruts and deep mud slightly better ?

They are a bout £2.50 a corner more expensive for 235/85/16's.

If you want a quieter road noise and only a fraction less grip off road then go for the sahara's.

235/85/16's will be about £60 a corner

Not bothered about road noise :D

Is there any truth in that fact the 235's will handle the rutts and deep mud slightly better tho ? would it also be fact the 235's will also give slightly less height than the 265's because of the aspect ratio ?

What would you fit ? Seen some posts on those INSA Turbo's , but then I saw another members post about some tyres which are like half the price and a similar pattern ?

235's will cut into the mud more so if there is any grip to be had deeper down they'll have a better chance of finding it. 265's will float more when there is no grippy stuff.

Height wise the 235's are about 2mm higher so not worth worrying about.

I have 265/75/16 special tracks. I wanted sahara's in that size but couldn't get em. I had 235/85/16's previously. The noise does get on my tits but you can't have your cake and eat it.

so i heard - i was told lookin at yu sideways on was like looking at a pea pod with only one pea in it .
