Hope to be getting my iPhone5 soon and will be needing a phone holder for my 300tdi.

Other than windscreen suction holders, can anyone recommend one that fits onto the dash somewhere please?

I want one for the Iphone 4 that fits to the front screen and allows you to turn it 90 degrees so I can video laning trips then turn it back upright for calls, music, etc
 
i had one ... off ebay but cant remember the chaps name... it was a rigid plastic case that was entirely waterproof and you could still use the screen and all the buttons when it was in it, it was brilliant and designed to be used on a motorbike as a satnav. It was around £30 and came with the mount and a dedicated 3v conversion charger with the right lead for your phone. So you could hardwire it in to the car without hogging the 12v socket. Great bits of kit.

I even tried out the waterproof test and dunked it in the bath... worked a treat!

Would be worthwhile having if you go offroad alot through the wading sections.
 
Thanks, the holder would need to be able to hold my phone with its case on.

I assume the Brodit bracket needs screwing to the dashboard?
 
No it doesn't, you need to buy the bracket for the car which just clips on, then you screw the phone holder to the bracket
