i understand there have ben many engines in the land rover defender series, but I cannot tell whether 'DT Diesel' (according to my registration information) is the same as a 200tdi. I know there have been turbo diesels that are not the 'Tdi' name. Just wanted to clarify this, thanks

Well its a 1987 land rover but the engine is a replacement. I am pretty confident its a 200tdi, but I just wantef to make sure

200 also has aliminum head

Ive just bought a k reg disco 200tdi for a donnor. The engine block is gold. What does that mean????
