94-98 and 98-02
When choosing spares these dates are
a change point. My 4.6 hse is December
'98 ! How do I tell which applies to me.
Sorry if that's a dim question.

VIN number. Chassis number.

98 is when they changed the engine from gems to thur..

Bannanas in the engine bay, 98 onwards

Look at the engine, if you have an oblong plenum chamber on top then you have a gems engine and need parts 94-98. If you have what looks like a bunch of bananas on top you have a thor 98-02.

Well that takes the biscuit. Land Rover having the forethought to include a bunch of bananas to eat whilst waiting for the AA. Incredible concern for customer welfare.
