hi

anyone know what oil i should be treating my front and rear axles to on my 1994/L 300 tdi manual disco
also while we are about it what about the gear and transfer box ? thanks

and yes i did a search but as usual never come up with what i actually search for ????

Ep90 for both your axles and transfer box. Get it in 1 litre tubs with a built in nozzle, it's easier to fill with. Get 6 litres in total and anything left you can keep for next time. Before you drain, make sure you can get the filler plug out first or your screwed lol. Can't help with the gearbox as I haven't done mine yet.
 
sorry . it's manual with reverse towards me and backwards (right hand drive )if that gives away what sort of manual box i have ???

its an r380 and atf dexron 2 or 3 is more than adequate for box although mtf 94 was later recommended as has longer life ,but regular changes of either is really more important at least yearly on average mileage ,when rebuilding boxes you can see the difference between boxes that have had regular oil changes and others
 
You have the R380 gearbox, which needs MTF94 transmission fluid. Carlube do one pretty cheap! :) As above, EP90 for the axles and transfer box.
