OK .... about to buy my first hilift :D

But which is best for the money? ....... needs to be 5 footer and i'm trying to avoid the "cheapies" as i've heard horror stories about them .... smashed fingers etc :eek:

Looks like either proper HI-LIFT brand or Tmax so far ........... but which to spend me hard earned on????? :confused:
 
I have a 4FT Hi-Lift and abuse it more than you probably should and Nothing has broken and its very reliable and simple.. I have used it on dozens of scrap cars and thrown it (Quite literally) About, Used it alot for ripping old scrap cars apart.. Only regret buying it was I didnt go for the 5ft one..

But buy a Hi-lift, Spares are easier to come by, And theres loads of accessories for them.. I mean Hi-lift has been around for over a hundred years and the Design remains relatvly Unchanged for the last 40-50 years..

i have a tmax and its been great...all the high lift mounts fit and it has a bigger base foot than the high lift.......was quite a bit cheaper too......its been exposed to the elements for 6 months now and has not let me down yet...http://

Gorra hi-lift and it's the cojones, only a 4ft one tho coz it fits nicely along the back of the bulkhead just in front of the seats.

Well looks like the T-max might be good for the money ............ hoohum :rolleyes:

Will let you know the outcome once me head stops hurtin :p :D
 
I got mine from Trago - 25 quid.
Used it a few times and it seems to work OK.

Not a lot.
3 Piece Suite, Dining Suite, Carpets, Beds, Kitchen, Wardrobes, most of me tools etc etc......

They aint no good fer lectrical goods though. ;)
