Hi,
my rangie is in need of some new rubber. I've made my decision and ordered a set of GG AT2 in 235/70/16 (as i have the 7 inch wide rims), but the AT2 is not available any more in that size.
I'm now facing next choices:
GG AT2 225/75/16 XL, which is close to original diameter, just 1 cm narrower and has 17/32" thread depth
NEW GG AT 235/75/16, which would be the correct size for my wheels
or
GG AT2 245/75/16, which is a 31" tire, so i'm not exactly sure about it.
Range is my only car, so I need a tire, which will perform well on road, but can still do off-road. As I live in Slovenia, and we do get proper winters here with our share of snow, I also need a tire that would perform decent in snow. I was led to believe that AT2 was pretty good in the white stuff, but haven't heard any comments about the new style AT.
All three choices are in the range of 90-100 GBP per wheel. Any opinions?
Thanks...
