Ok so ive looked everywhere and all i can find is people wanting to stick led bulbs behind their gauges ect..

I just wanna know what bulbs i need to order for my speedo and gauges....

and which bulbs do i need for behind things like the 12v feed and the heater and fan as in my mates they actually light up!

So many different answers on the web i want to order 3watt or 5watt bulbs and remove the green cap then glue the bulb holder in..

ahh i apologise...

1989 LR 90....

If it doesnt light up then fair play but i would like to see my temp ect when driving in the dark lol

I went to my local motor factors and picked some up think mine were 3w tiny things

yeh but I'm trying to find the proper name for the 3w tiny things to get some ordered off eBay..

it seems prices double if u put land rover or defender infront of things on eBay

ive read led r bull****... best just get 5w standard but i dunno what i need...

w5w i think but not sure

I have LEDs in my 1989 dash. They are T10s(I think they are the wrong size, they seemed to be too long). The difference to the old bulbs is amazing.

Yes all mine went shortly after I replaced the dodgy one.

Some of dials light up green and some white depends which ones have lost their bits of green filter. Makes no difference really cos the lights are so **** I can barely see them!!!

Lol trax!!! I just want some 5w bulbs that go behind my fuel temp and speedo if some fecking guru could find me the ones that I need to buy... Thank you lol

5W bulbs melted in mine, destroyed the green lens' in all my dials. Got some leds instead

Yeah too much heat dissipation.

They DO make these 10mm versions in various wattage's ranging from 1.2W to 5W, maybe even 10W but they seem to be getting more and more difficult to track down in the lowest wattage's.

I just go into my local auto electrical wholesalers and tell them what I want and the wee guy always has it so that helps. I just had a look there and I can only find the 4.9/5mm dia warning light 1.2W versions but I know he has the bigger 9.5/10mm versions in 1.2 which last for an eternity.
