bought a 88 petrol with no engine for 150 quid, i think thats good money ?

i want to just weld it up, bang an engine in it, and sell it ! oh and mot it :D

so what engine is best so i can buy it cheap, little mods, and highly wanted ?

second question, who wants to buy it :D:eek:

You should Flintstone it
More seriously I would have thought an original spec engine would be more valuable if installed?

I thought some series c0uld be worth a bit more witha 200di or tdi conversion?

Are they really worth me with the original diesels/petrols compared to a well documented and executed conversion?

I under stand that Series with random conversions such as Nissan or Transit engines always take ages to sell.

Well son: that is a good question. Which of many markets are targeting. If it is a die hard series III colector then it better be bang correct in every way.

If it is someone wanting 1 all depends.

Or could be 1 who wants a weekend driver with a little zip in it.

So you see there are several answers to your open ended question.:drum:

well thats really cheered me up go offered a 300 disco other day chassis and body shot engine and running gear spot on 80 thou on clock. 400 notes guy would take 3, 350 needed it gone.

thats good, but i wouldnt go willy nilly fitting a 300 into a series, their a right c*nt,

my main motors got a 200 in it, i hope to get 2k when iv tidied it up :)

anyone need any series parts ? im breaking this landrover instead of restoring now, ????
