What model of differential will a 1990 def 90 have? Also hub is leaking, will simply replacing the hub gasket be likely to stop the leak or will I have to go to the hassle of dismantling the whole assembly to reach the seal? Thanks

Disk or drum brakes as axles might not be originals? If disks and hub is leaking from drive flange area (i.e. outside of wheel) then gasket may be all you need, if it is on the inner side of wheel them probably hub seal if the bearings are still ok.

Rear axle with drum brakes. The leak is nearly completely on the outside of the wheel, no effect at all on braking ability. Likely a gasket then and not a seal?

Thanks Kwakerman

Most likely gasket get a few of them they are ridiculously cheap and means you have them on hand if you need them. On the rear the only other place it can leak oil is at the stub axle to casing. Is the plastic hub cap in good shape these can leak a little.

Most likely leaking from the hub cap. Best to buy genuine, other brands can leak from new. frc 4377 is part number
