it's not supposed to come on all the time with A/C only if the ambient temperature input is 28*C or above oe the engine temp input 110...if you know which is it's relay remove it and bridge it's contact(30-87) to check the fan or blow with a hair drier on the ambient temp sensor
 
@neilly I do yes! Didnt think of that! Theres a specific "test AC fan" function in outputs isnt there!

@sierrafery ahhh I thought as much but wasn't certain, it's been in the garage which surprisingly is the coolest part of the house!

Yes I can pm you my mate john number he has an air con machine is a proper mechanic and can vac test your system and find leaks if you have one mine had a leak under the P clip on the right hand side of the engine bay common place so iv since found out.
 
Bumping up an older thread rather than starting a new one and messing with future searches...

Is the VDO PM9261 and TYC630790 still the only non oem fans that fit and work?
Amazon.com has the TYC avail and two of them is ~150 USD shipped, but always looking for cheaper options.
These don't seem to be avail in europe, atleast I can't seem to locate.

And yeah, I need two as the original fan on both my D2's is junk.
