Two ethanol plants, owned by Biofuel Energy Corporation, began production this week, according to a press release from Biofuel Energy Corporation. The plants are located in Wood River, Neb. and Fairmont Minn. and combined will produce 230 million gallons of ethanol annually. In addition, they will produce 720,000 tons of dried distillers grains.
Both facilities were constructed next to Cargill grain elevators. Cargill has contracted with Biofuel Energy to provide certain business operations, such as ethanol distribution and sales of distillers by-products.
This is a bit of c and p but it just shows that this is gonna be big business.
My supplier says he is starting to have difficulty finding the oil.
People ring up his suppliers of used veggie every day asking how they dispose of it and WHAT THEY GET PAID FOR LETTING IT GO.
These guys used to have to pay to dispose of it.
Supply and demand i suppose.
Next comment by big brother(GOV) is "We need to stop the production of bio-deisel from rapeseed oil, as the farmers are having to grow more and more,to cope with the different usage, which in turn is forcing up food prices"
Dya think it's got something to do with lack of Taxation on such fuel?????
