I am currently trying to diagnose some problems on our td4.
I want to replace all the intercooler and turbo hoses, where are they available from? (apart from main dealer)

Does anyone know the internal diameter of the hoses for the turbo vacuum pipes?
The long one coming from the intercooler to the intake duct is 52mm (2") as is the short straight one after the air temp sensor.
The 90degree bend one is larger at 57mm (2.25")
The 90degree one could be sourced as a standard bend, but if you just buy a straight length of 52mm silicon hose it will not fit correctly as the hose needs to be moulded to the correct 'S' shape to avoid kinks, which will do the air-flow no good.
Here's a pic of mine.

Did you also change the pipe that comes out of the intercooler into the turbo?
The big corrugated silicon pipe on the left is from the under-wing air intake to the top air-duct which feeds round into the air-cleaner.
You may see that I fitted a wider / stronger 'T' bolt hose clamp at the point where the 90 degree bend hose enters the EGR by-pass. Oil fumes and mist from the turbo tends to collect there and seep through.
If you fit any new silicon hoses be sure to go back over them and re-tighten after a week or so.

But I believe there is also a pipe from the output of the intercooler that feeds into the Turbo, did you change that as well? (Looking from front of engine towards rear of car its part the way down the intercooler on the right hand side)
The pipe that goes to the intercooler looks very difficult to access, particularly the jubilee clip. Looks like it was put on with the intercooler.
Any suggestions on removing this?
