So, I have a 2001 freelander and the drivers side rear brake light had stopped working. On further inspection, the socket into which the light bulb goes has corroded due to the surround being full of water and a contact has totally fallen off. So, i need to get a new part which is the part that has both the indicator and brake light sockets but its not the actual light surround. The part has >pa-66< written on it. Does anyone know where i can get it from?

I think the >pa-66< is nothing to do with the part number - might be the material its made from.

Get the part number of your local LR dealer - I've always found them helpful - sit down when you ask the price :)

If you would take a SH part, partsgateway.co.uk will broker a small number of 4x4 breakers yards that might turn up something. The small ads in any of the mags would give you options for after market alternatives - but I'm not sure there would be many :(

Try ebay - there´s usually lots of lights on there. Also quite a few people breaking them.
Also try your local breakers yard - mine has 2 Freelanders in, complete with lights!

Cheers for the help guys, I went to land rover today and i had to get the whole rear light cluster with it. Only cost about £30 so it wasn't too bad
