ive got a def 110 front diff that has some wear on the spider gears and its causing a backlash but i cant seem to find anyone who sells just the gears and pin for the diff . anyone know of a place that sells these parts ?
 
why alllways ashcrofts ,since nearly all parts come from britpart , bearmach and all makes and all part suppliers get them there any part supplier you choose would do bearing in mind that all wholesalers do pattern ,oe and genuine, 10 spline kit stc1768 24 spline kit 1846 kit includes shaft and gears

i did contact ashcrofts and they offered me a used diff or a new one

i will have to send some emails as i didnt see any kits online
 
thanks all, i may be comming to the UK soon so i will pick it up when im there as the shipping to Trinidad will raise the cost quite a bit
 
well i ended up ordering the kit from simmonites stc1846 and its not the same:( the larger gears are the same but the smaller gears and pin are not ,the pin is smaller in diameter and the bore of the gear is also smaller and the pin is held in place by two clips but the old gear is held in place by a smal pin that wedges into the housing:confused:

i just dont know what to do with it is it for older models petrol or 200 300tdi is the td5 one not available as a kit ??

right i guess the stc 1846 is the correct kit for the front diff up to the TD5 model . the diff i have is the same as a TD5 Discovery front diff that i have stripped with the bigger pin and gears .

is there a kit for the D2???
 
i rebuild them ,and a few years ago i had to make parts list for each type and spec of lr axles so they could be built without spending time looking through parts book and picking out the individual parts from the list of opitions for year axle no etc.
