Anyone know where land rover in their infinite wisdom hides the fuse for the heated rear window on a 110 csw (its a 110 not a defender) plus I cant find the relay or vsu .

on my 89 110 the fuse is in the standard fusebox attached to the GB tunnel, there isnt a relay and the VSU is screwed to the bulkhead on the inside behind the instrument panel

thanks for the quick reply, its not in the fuse box on the gb tunnel, there are two stacks of 6 fuses, none of which mention the HRW on the diagram . there are also 2 sets of two fuses but none of these are live for the HRW when on , although the dash warning light goes on with the switch . Surely they dont need you to take the whole dash panel off? Ive got the fuse panel off, and the instrument panel partly out still cant find anything . Dont you just love landrovers, no mention of it in the handbook, other than the supplementary wiring diagram

The relay for my heated rear window is behind the dash panel, little yellow bugger to the right hand side as you look in through the dash panel hole, taking the dash panel out completely is no big drama just unplug the warning lights and the speedo and put it on the floor then you should be able to trace the wire back to the fuse

The fuse panel is out , only two relays, start relay, and brake check relay behind there, other than flasher unit.
The dash panel, partly out, can see a metal relay high up on right, no fuse nearby. wires dont match colours for vsu or hrw relay.
What fuse in the two stacks do any of you have marked for HRW ?

This is the diagram I have in my driver handbook , its on a seperate page to the main diagram , its an 86 110 :)

Sean, sorry for the quality had to mod it a bit to get the bytes down , its starting to look that from an accuracy point of view they may as well have :D I think they changed quite a bit from year to year at around that time pre defender. :(
