Looking for a little help with a wheel and tyre set up for my classic,

Can anyone suggest what will fit my standard classic with EAS and any mods required to do so, would wheel spacers help?
Was looking at either 265/75/16s or 235/85/16s

Also, what options are open to me for lifting my classic, It has a fully functioning EAS system that i dont want to remove so was thinking about spacers??

Any thoughts.

Here's my Classic. I got 2" higher springs put on, heavy duty Scorpion racing ones. Then managed to put 265/75/16 Insa Turbo Dakar muds on it without them rubbing. Shocks are still standard at the moment so there's not great articulation but it gives me lots of fun. Anti roll bars removed front and back.Steering guard was only fitted last week and also has a front diff guard on it.
Seems to do the job.
EAS?? is your classic an LSE model? Is that air suspension??

Yep full air set up and all works to so i dont want to rip out the air springs and put coils in, was thinking about spacers (1" or 2") with longer shocks!
You have any experence with them??

As for the model its a 95 classic 3.9 but thats all i know, its from landrovers specialist vehicle department so it has very little identification.
My insurance company ran a plate search and have classed it as an EFI so god knows.

Do your tyre rub on full lock??

They dont rub now as i adjusted the steering stops to stop it happening.
Don't know much about the Air suspension, but i do know you'll need to be carefull if your offroading it as you might damage it.Most people opt to get rid and convert to coils for offroading as it's less hassel and more robust.

I thought the Classic only went up to a 94??
Hmmm Strange.
Do you have any pics of it you could post up?

There were actually 6,746 classic range rovers built in 1995 although the P38 was in production at this time
The last of the classics didn't leave the dealers forecourts until May 1996
Guess they were just using up all the bits they had lying around ! :)

Here it is in all its glory.
