Having lifted my Disco I'm now looking for some wheels and tyres. I'm torn between the Insa Turbo Dakar and Special Track and am also wondering about what wheels to put them on.
I'd like 10" wide wheels but can't see any tyres that would fit and also costs rise massively, so I guess I'm looking at 8" wheels, now do I go for Paddock's +8mm offset 16" modulars or Garageand4x4's -35mm offset 16" modulars?
I'm not too worried about doing a camel cut, I've got various cutting tools here in the workshop.
I'm assuming that extended arches are possibly needed for the lower offset wheels? I guess my worry is that they might impede axle articulation if they foul on the body rather then lifting up into the arches?
I'd appreciate any feedback from people who have any of the above, ta muchly.
