hi all
this morning while fitting the plastic wheel arch, i thought i check the wheel over. test hands 12-6 and found play so tightern up bearing and play as now gone. rocked it in hands 9-3 postion and i get movement. now this moves a fair bit, now i manged to get some help rocking the wheel while i was under the car and couldnt notice anything around wheel it self.but i have come across 2 track rod ends with movement. could these be the problem or summit seperate alltogether. any infor appricated ta

Most likely track rod ends but I had same problem and it wasn't. It was the steering arm on bottom of steering box. That was loose which have fair bit of play. Worth a check to see its tight. Very simple fix.

If he has already said they are loose this isn't going to help side to side movement and so changing them will reduce the side to side there may be other steering faults but I'd start with these
