Is it diff oil ? if so will i need to undo the hub an replace the oil seal? is this straight foward or do i have to drain the rear diff?

it depends where it is leaking from - also check that he axle breather is clear, else axle pressurisation will force oil out of the axles.

its leaking very very slightly from the hub. spraying the wheel. if u look at the wheel compared to other wheels its covered in oil where the other wheels are spotless. I wipe it clean and a week later its dirty again.

inside of the wheel or outside?

check yo breather first - easy job to do and saves lots of hassle - dont it HB?
