Hi chaps.

Just a quick one. I've got a freelander 1 sport with 235/50/18's on it. I have a friend whos giving me for free some 17 inch wheels with brand new all terrain tyres on them as he's breaking his landrover freelander petrol.

Am I going to be able to just Change the wheels problem free, we weren't sure whether the fact that the wheels maybe a different size will affect the 4 wheel drive system or hearing or anything like that? I have got an exact tyre size for the new ones yet as he's not with the vehicle at the moment but a few cm increase or decrease in overall wheel size won't affect anything will it?

Thanks in advance

No you should not get any problems,as they are straight off another Freelander!!;):)

Cool, thanks mate. I know it seemed a bit daft but I wasn't sure if the set up with the 4 wheel drive system etc was different with diesels and petrols and if different wheels would affect it because I noticed there are 3 different rim sizes with freelanders. Best be safe lol.

Thanks again bud

Early freelanders wheels pre 2001 won't fit later ones and vice versa iirc. Apart from that should be no issues
