hi all i took the front end of my 300 tdi to bits today to do front wheel bearings question is where the big hub nut lives passenger side was dry buy drivers side was full of green grease/oil whitch should it be and any info on what may of gone wrong?? thanks in advance

No, it shouldn't be like that. The stub axle and inner hub seals have failed and need to be replaced.

so what is right way full of oil or dry?

It should be dry, apart from the grease in the wheel bearings.
The black / green oily grease is from your swivel housing and is leaking through.
