Got a rumbling loose wheel bearing on my 300.
New ones are on their way...

Can someone have a word with the big man and make sure it dont rain tomorrow night?

ALL DONE NO RAIN!!

But he cannot guarantee that the parts will be the right ones when they arrive, also he said you will probably have stripped the car down before you find out!

to test, is it only knackered if it rumbles. Mine makes a squeek sometimes when im going slow. Im there anything else to try?

sounds like it might be dry - have yu tried repacking it with grease?

no, do they have a nipple?? Didnt know they needed greasing to be honest

I didnt even need to jack the car to wobble the wheel.

proper stange as the car aint been driven for a few weeks and there was no evedence of it last time i drove it.

i'm just gonna replace em as a matter of course. they're cheap enough.

no they dont. get the rave or haynes manwell and check hoe easy it is to do.

of course if it has been off-roaded - cud be water has got in.

Don't forget to set your end float with a DTI......or just nip up the nut, give your wheel a good wiggle & shake rotating it through 180 degrees, then back the nut off a quarter turn.
