Hello all , I am missing the access panel to the front indicator unit from the inner wheel arch liner , if any one else had to replace this part could you please give me the part no , and cost , facelift , drivers side front , thank you .
 
Thanks zefrench & nodge for the replies , I noticed while checking the engine oil that something was a miss , as I could see my tyre tread through the gap in the top corner of the wing , I will check out rimmers cheers
 
one of mine was missing when i bought it

so i got one of ebay an screwed them on with self tappers ( with washers on ) top and bottom to stop them falling oft
 
I blame the ****e state our roads are in , pot holes and the like , the freelander takes it in its stride , but I still whince now and again , god help the lesser types :eek:
 
Quick update , got a new R H panel for £6 so not too bad , once I worked out how it fitted I put a small hole in the liner and secured it with a tie wrap , did the other side also , quite a bit of road crap had gone into the upper wing where the air intake is :eek: sorted now , should stay put !

That's weird. I'm missing that one too.
 
started fitting my lift kit today, and notice both mine are missing and full of mud, but I will be taking the tight git bodge approach and making two covers from a 6 pint plastic milk bottle

I like your thinking. When the weather improves, I'm going to take the wings off to clean the area properly and spray on lots of body wax!!
 
how to fit them you put the bottom in first as it has a lip on it then push the top home and you will need one of those scrivit clips in the hole at the top hope this helps

even though I'm married to a Yorkshire lass, I'm unfamiliar with the northern word of chew:D

it's horses for courses, our private track leading to our woods is so rutted I'm scraping the bottom of the car, which although I'm not too worried about the car, I don't want to "chew" the path up more than necessary, hence the lift kit
