discool Well-Known Member Nov 23, 2007 #3 70ah is the standard size for disco 1 that will give a cold granking power of about 570amps. The short code for the battery will be 069 or 072.. Mine's an 072 and this is confirmed in the owners manual as the battery for a 300tdi also.
