Its personal choice. feel free to drop around for a feel (ooo er!) of mine if you like!
I also got an almost D shaped one with flat bottom. does feel wierd at times, but got loads of room under it to move about and i can still palm steer it.
contradictory to this I also like the IIA one on my lightweight at about 20"! feel like driving a bus

Ah was just happy tae change from the original 4 spoke 200tdi defender one tae a padded 300tdi one (after changin' me steerin' column)
