Just to let you know, I've just driven a stretch on the A1 from Leeds to Durham and my 2.5 N/A got to 70 no problem what so ever. Very very loud though, and slowed down to 55-60 on hills

I drove a 84 110 2.5 n/a with a 8x4 trailer both fully loaded with all my worldly possessions. from Torquay to hull a total distance of 335miles doing a steady 55/60 and I only had 2 10 minute breaks.

I would make a comment about how brave / foolhardy you are to do that, but you wouldn't be able to hear me.

Well i gave it a service last night and did take it on the mway. I took it to 75 pretty easily before i thought slow down or i'm gunna die! haha!

And did your teeth all fall out as predicted? BFG At's are the way forward - i have a mate who orders the tyres for the firm and he reckons he'll get 100,000 miles out of a set. Far cry from my mrs' Audi ****ro, BFG on that (road tyres) are not good for much more that 10K!

Music too my ears this thread.
Mine done 97k and just had a full oil and filter change.
Redex in the tank and see what happens.

Me 200tdi 90 will only got to 70 foot to the floor with the roof rack on but will push towards the high 80's without it :D Its got a pipercross air filter and straight through midpipe so nothing major. No pump tweaking. As others have said, it dont feel to comfortable above the low 60's
