Just bought a headlining for my 300tdi Discovery.

It came out of a very late V8 GS
Bit of confusion... there's a hole in the headlining that isn't there on my '96 model.

So here's the million dollar question:
What would be fitted to a 98 disco between the two grab rails on the headlining on the passenger side of the vehicle?

Exactly the same as my replacement headliner - fill it with a fake sensor and put the active one in the usual hole at the front.
